Dang Phong commits to product warranty in accordance with the conditions of the product provided.
1. Warranty coverage
All products supplied are used within the territory of Vietnam. The warranty is performed at the place where the product is installed.
During the warranty period, if the product is transferred (legally) to another unit/individual, all warranty conditions will still apply for the remaining warranty period.
2. Definitions about warranty
Warranty is the repair, replacement of parts or update of control software for damages caused by software errors, material errors or errors during the assembly process, provided that the product is used and maintained properly.
Warranty work is performed free of charge at the installation location. Dang Phong is not responsible for recalling and replacing new products for consumers if the warranty can fix quality errors, material errors or assembly errors of the manufacturer.
Maintenance (or maintenance) is the activity of checking, adjusting, replacing materials and spare parts periodically according to the schedule recommended by Dang Phong to maintain the quality of your machine in the best condition.
3. Warranty period
The warranty period for each product type is clearly stated in the warranty card.
For generators, the warranty period is 12 months or 2,000 hours, whichever comes first, from the date of handover and commissioning.
During the warranty period of the machine, spare parts replaced under the warranty policy will have a warranty period equal to the remaining warranty period of the generator.
Batteries have a warranty period of 1 year or 1,000 hours, whichever comes first.
Anti-rust warranty: Rust is only warranted when the metal plate is punctured under normal operating conditions due to a manufacturer’s defect or material defect.
4. Damages not covered by warranty
Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, adjustments, changes or conversions from the original design such as changing the capacity or structure, connecting accessories outside the manufacturer’s specifications, etc. not performed by Dang Phong.
Damage caused by using non-genuine spare parts or using lubricants and coolants other than those specified in the user manual.
Rust, paint discoloration, rubber aging, grease deterioration or natural wear over time.
Phenomena that Dang Phong finds do not affect the quality and operation of the product (such as noise, small vibrations and oil seepage, etc. of the generator).
Damage caused by nature such as earthquakes, storms, floods or other natural disasters.
Damage caused by external factors such as soil, sand, gravel, rocks, sharp hard objects thrown into the machine during operation.
Damaged parts due to natural wear and tear and included in the list of periodically replaced parts such as oils, greases, belts, filters, etc.
Damage caused by repair or maintenance work not performed by Dang Phong or authorized by Dang Phong.
5. Responsibility of the using unit
To use the machine safely, effectively and ensure warranty benefits, machine inspection and maintenance are essential.
Notes for customers
- Read the instructions (included with the machine): The operator is responsible for operating and using the machine in accordance with the method mentioned in the generator user manual. See more: Generator operating instructions
- Machine warranty: During operation, the operator is responsible for notifying us immediately to receive timely support.
- Maintenance: Maintain on schedule according to the user manual. See more: Industrial generator maintenance instructions.
- Recording book (keeping information about maintenance times): In order for maintenance to be performed on schedule, the machine operator must be responsible for monitoring and keeping all records/records of maintenance times in the periodic maintenance log at the back of the operating manual.
